The Balearic Islands are a cultural interesting region which still needs to be discovered by art-lovers. It is the home of the contemporary art especially for the huge potential of young artists. Both nativ and non-local artists find here a source of inspiration and creativity.
The Islands are know for the international tourism and posses the most vivid and interesting art-scene Spains since 100 years. Some of the most known spanish artist such as Sicilia and Barceló are born on Majorca and Miró has been living and working several decennias on the Balearic Islands.
The exhibition “Contemporani Balears” shows 5 artists who use different context to form a general view on the contemporary art-scene of the Balearic Islands.
